WordPress recently released version 5.5 which we had been testing extensively with the beta version. There were no issues with the core of Fast Member, so we didn’t rush to push out this next release until we were ready. Now is the time to give you an update and we’ve added a number of important improvements to this release as you’ll see.
Members Billing Management
There is a new members account area shortcode which adds a complete members billing portal. Your customers can see a full transaction history along with current active plans and an option to cancel any subscriptions on either PayPal or Stripe directly. These removes the need to contact your support for simple cancellation requests and this gives your users a lot more freedom, flexibility and transparency around when and how they will be billed.
Subscription products which have been cancelled are now marked against previous transactions inside Fast Member and also on the members / affiliates list so you can better see the users who have cancelled from within the dashboard. This is especially useful for seeing users who may have cancelled any free trials
Quick Start Embedded 1 Click Upsells
You now get a more intuitive and structured setup when running the Quick Start Wizard. The wizard will not only create all the needed pages you require, it will set the page parent hierarchies and preset the ‘show or hide from menus’ options on various pages. This really speeds up your site setup process, effectively giving you a complete one click setup ready to drop in your content and take payments from the moment the Quick Start Wizard is ran.
We’ve also added the options for Stripe which adds a payment form when Fast Stripe is installed. Now the Quick Start Wizard will literally set up your entire membership site structure including embedded payment forms with 1 click up sells in less than 45 seconds. All that’s needed is for you to drop in your content and you’re ready to make sales.

Product Status Tags
We’ve now introduced various Fast Tag options based on the product purchase statuses. This means you can directly sync product purchases, subscription cancellations and refunds with your autoresponder tags letting you trigger more nuanced post purchase automations.

We’ve been tirelessly working away on some powerful new add ons including Google Analytics Enhanced E-commerce Reporting and a drag and drop form builder.
